After completing a Bachelor of Science majoring in muscle physiology, Danny embarked on his journey towards Physiotherapy.  He graduated with Honours from The University of Melbourne in 2005 and has been part of Hoppers Physio since 2006.

Danny immediately was involved in most aspects of Hoppers Physio including facilitating hydrotherapy, pilates and Tai Chi classes, sharing the load of team physiotherapist for the Western Jets AFL development team (2006 – 2021) and off-site work including aged care, home visits and even business development of new ventures.

In 2013, Danny joined the partnership group at Hoppers Physio and apart from being a full-time clinician, his portfolio now extends across many key aspects of the business including HR, recruitment and finance.

Over his almost 20 years of experience as a physiotherapist, Danny has completed extensive professional development and has post-graduate qualification in Sports Physiotherapy.

Danny was born in Malaysia but grew up in western suburbs of Melbourne since aged 7.  Now he lives in Highton, Geelong with his wife, three young children and mini spoodle.

Danny enjoys most active things, particularly golf and basketball but can be found occasionally on a tennis court or bicycle.  He is impartial to running however and prefers to leave this to his wife who was a sub-40 minute 10k runner in her prime.  He tries to stay physically active throughout the year with functional resistance exercise but in summer loves days at the beach while during the cooler months is usually found on a golf course in his free time.
