Rebecca graduated from Latrobe University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 1997. She joined the team at Hoppers physio in 2013 and the partnership in 2016. She brings with her extensive experience in private practice over the last 18 years. Prior to this she also worked in paediatrics and aged care
Rebecca has a special interest in the sporting and degenerative shoulder, cervicogenic headaches and spinal pain, musculoskeletal and sporting injuries.
Rebecca has enjoyed getting back into paediatrics and building the western paediatric caseload as part of nuture healthcare.She enjoys seeing the joy on children and parents faces as they learn new skills and overcome their limitations or pain.
Rebecca manages our clinical Pilates program at the centre and frequently uses this in her approach to rehabilitation and treatment. She has completed all four levels of the DMA clinical Pilates series and also has further training in dry needling and medical acupuncture
Furthermore she has completed many professional development continuing education courses to keep her skills up-to-date for the treatment of many conditions including the shoulder, hip, pelvis, headaches, sporting injuries and paediatrics
Outside of work Rebecca plays and coaches netball and enjoys taking her dog for a hike with her daughter. She can also be found working on her strength at the gym or via pilates programs and enjoys live bands and good coffee
